A Culture of Connection & Care
At Optimum Joy, we honor the full human experience—yours, your clients', and everyone we touch.
We’ve created a culture built on authentic connection, personal growth, and genuine care because we believe that's what true healing requires.
Our Values
Generosity
We are a for-profit business doing good. We put generosity into practice by offering reduced fees through our interns, creating free content for our followers, and resisting a scarcity mindset. We also prioritize community-based initiatives through our non-profit arm, Resonate Joy.
Collective Diversity
We believe wisdom comes from many voices. Our team embraces diversity in all forms: age, race, gender, abilities, background, and experience. By valuing both individuals and shared experiences, we gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be human.
Clinician-1st Practice
Our clinicians come first. When they feel supported, clients do too. Every decision—payroll, policies, workplace culture—starts with their well-being, ensuring we create a place where people want to stay and grow.
Education
Growth never stops. We invest in learning through dedicated budgets and professional development, fostering continuous growth for both our clinicians and our practice.
Enjoyment
We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. Laughter keeps us grounded, and we believe a workplace should be one you enjoy, both in the work you do and the people you do it with.
Who We Are
-
Humble Collaborators
We learn from each other (clients, peers, and support staff alike) regardless of position or experience. Our work is rooted in humility, openness, and a commitment to growing together.
-
Whole Humans
We embrace our humanity, recognizing our limitations and caring for ourselves as we care for others. We practice self-compassion and prioritize living well.
-
Heart-Driven
We approach our work with empathy, passion, and genuine care. While we maintain professionalism, our work is deeply rooted in love and connection.
-
Joyful Teammates
We take our work seriously, but we also enjoy the journey. We cultivate a workplace where we appreciate and uplift one another, making the work meaningful and enjoyable.

Freedom to Practice, Community to Lean On
We understand that therapeutic work requires both solitude and support. That's why we've thoughtfully created opportunities for you to maintain your independence while fostering meaningful connections with colleagues who understand your journey.
-
Our social committee brings the team together quarterly for experiences that help us connect beyond our clinical work—from shared laughs at improv shows to casual conversations over craft beers.
-
Our welcoming staff lounge and kitchen provide a comfortable space where you can work quietly or connect with colleagues over coffee, whatever feels right in the moment.
-
Join our virtual book club where we read everything from murder mysteries to biographies. It's a fun way to connect with colleagues over our latest read.
-
Our active referral-sharing thread helps match clients with the right therapist, ensuring both you and your clients find the best fit for meaningful work together.
-
While you maintain your therapeutic independence, you're also part of a smaller team that meets regularly for group supervision and peer support. Our four distinct teams offer the perfect balance of autonomy and connection.
